Paul S. Parker was a featured presenter for the National Business Institute’s OnDemand Course on December 15, 2023. The program, entitled Tennessee Probate Process from Start to Finish, seeks to provide attorneys and other professionals a comprehensive overview of the entire probate process in Tennessee. Parker presented on “Tax Reporting and Post-Mortem Tax Matters,” discussing tax requirements and considerations that arise in the probate process.

DPB&C Attorneys Recognized by the Tennessee Supreme Court

On May 24, 2023, the Tennessee Supreme Court released their ninth annual recognition of attorneys and law firms that have devoted significant time to provide pro bono services to those who cannot afford legal representation and to improve the legal community. Each attorney at Dodson Parker Behm and Capparella, PC was recognized individually as an “Attorney for Justice” for 2022, signifying that each of those attorneys performed at least fifty hours of pro bono legal services in the past year.

Michael Bressman serves as Professor of the Practice of Law at Vanderbilt Law School where he has taught a variety of courses over the last 15 years. This year, Professor Bressman received the Hall-Hartman Award honoring excellent teaching for one of the first-year sections of Contracts. He also teaches Intellectual Property and the Arts Clinic, and directs the Law School’s clerkship program.
