Donald Capparella and Jacob A. Vanzin will present the Tennessee Bar Association’s continuing legal education seminar Recent Developments on Waivers in Tennessee Appellate Courts. This webinar will explore recent decisions by the Tennessee Court of Appeals and Supreme Court discussing circumstances when the court will find that a litigant has waived an issue on appeal.

Capparella has served as counsel in over 500 appeals in both state and federal courts, securing justice for his clients through more than just financial wins.

Vanzin is a former appellate court judicial law clerk and an experienced appellate court practitioner in his own right. He brings a distinct perspective to the discussion, as he knows what appellate practice is like both behind the podium and behind the judicial curtain.

The CLE will be live via zoom on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 12:00-1:00 (CDT).
