Donald Capparella and Jacob A. Vanzin are teaching Appellate Practice at Nashville School of Law. The course introduces students to appellate practice and advocacy with hands-on learning experience.

Author of the Bard of the Bar appellate law blog and Editor in Chief of Appellate Advocacy: A Handbook on Appellate Practice in Tennessee, Donald Capparella has over 30 years of experience in state and federal appellate courts.

Jacob A. Vanzin has over 10 years of experience in litigation and appeals and is an Assistant Editor of Appellate Advocacy: A Handbook on Appellate Practice in Tennessee.

They both focus their respective practices on trial consulting and appeals and enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience of the appellate world with the next generation of law students.
